![]() The mk.3 version expands on the utility value of this modern classic, while retaining the form factor and ease of use, by introducing Tap Tempo with subdivisions and Hold. The pedals are also given hand-painted finishes for a visually stunning aesthetic, and true-bypass switching to ensure the pedal won’t affect your tone when not in use. JAM Pedals have produced some absolute killer pedals over the years - taking the effects you know and love and giving them a little more. Its straight-forward layout is addressed to delay users who are looking to elegantly enhance their hard-earned tone, similarly to how a tape-echo machine would with no frills. Each pedal is built by hand, made from the highest materials on the market along with rare NOS chips, specially selected matched NOS transistors, and Carbon comp resistors. It is a bit brighter than many other analog delays Ive owned. It is a great Bucket Brigade analog delay Simple with must three knobs, but a really nice tone to the repeats and the decay. JAM Pedals are a manufacturer of boutique analogue guitar and bass pedals from Greece. I scored a Delay Llama off of Reverb for a good deal because I was curious since everything else I have tried by JAM has been really nice. The filter can be used to lend and edge to the echoes, or create a wind whistling and oscillation at high settings, and with the modulation engaged. A filter Q control can be engaged via a toggle switch, while the knob lets you dial in resonant feedback at the tone knob's cut off point. The low pass tone control allows you to trim additional treble from the pedals sound, letting you create darker echoes. A toggle switch provides 3 different tap tempo modes, with the choice between quarter, 8th, and dotted 8th notes. The extra features added to the supreme model of the Delay Llama provides even more tonal shaping possibilities than original and Plus models. The last footswitch offers a tap tempo function with three different subdivisions to choose from, and as a hold switch when held down to turn repeats into an infinite oscillation loop. The FX footswitch can be used to add modulation to the repeats, creating a warped delay sound. ![]() With the addition of two extra footswitches and expression pedal capabilities, the delay Llama Supreme offers excellent effects shaping with added effects, creating incredible delay tones to enhance your playing experience. I’m home.Full Description View Full Description Designed With One Thing in Mind: Tape-Echo ![]() In 2010 I plugged into the bucket brigade Delay Llama and thirty years fell away. Then digital arrived, and as we played with the magical bells and whistles, we slowly noticed that it didn’t always feel right. I loved them and the sound imprinted in my mind. They were a lot less trouble than tape and disc echos. “Around 1980 many of us got into bucket brigade delays, little analog echo boxes. My girlfriend can borrow my Line 6, I’m converting to Delay Llama!” Jim Campilongo I proceeded to getting some deep space sounds easily too. Usually getting a slap back echo is tricky, especially on my Line 6, but because of the 3 knob design, I quickly got the setting. “I quickly dialed up a Rockabilly slap back that sounded very organic – very similar like my old tape Echoplex (without the squeaking analog tape!). “I used the Delay Llama on this last tour, and not only to produce vintage sounding slap backs ! Also: light and durable: important for me!” Marc Ribot Anyone has one and can tell me a bit about it I am looking for a delay to pair with my MLJr, which is one od the best sounding delays to me, but I want some self oscillation too. “…it’s the quality of the sound that will beat any digital delay!” Vintage Guitar magazine
